Insulation –

Having your basement well insulated should take care of moisture that comes through from outside. A lot of people don’t insulate their basements because they don’t feel it’s important but it really is.

Purchase quality, thick insulation and be sure to check for leaks or other moisture before putting it up. These things can really be trouble when they start to cause basement mold, so be sure that you have them taken care of.
