5 Basement Designs to Choose From

Do you have a cold, but room also known as a basement sitting under the other rooms of your house? If so, then you should take the opportunity that is knocking on that basement room.

There are many basement designs out there that you can choose from. They are as good as you make them. The larger the imagination is, then the better those ideas are going to be.

Below, we are going to give you seven of our very own ideas that will make it an exciting place.

1.Basement home theater: If you choose, it doesn’t have to be a big home theater, you could just place a large television in the room.

Today, you can find a good, reasonable flat screen television at a great price. This is one of the most popular ideas.

2. Video game room: Personally, this is what we turned our basement into. We are a family of gamers and decided to turn our basement into a full-fledged gaming room.

On the walls, you will find Halo, Zelda, Mario, Resident Evil, Sonic, Silent Hill and many other posters.

We have many gaming systems set up in front of seven comfortable gaming chairs. For those scary games, such as Resident Evil 5, we have it where the lights can be turned down low.

3.Workout room: This is a great idea, that way your gym will be right down stairs. You can have weight sets, elliptical machines and treadmills in this room.

If you nicely do up the room and place different machines in it, then you are going to have your very own private gym.

4.Workshop: For this one, you will need enough lighting as well as door space to move things in. This is a great idea for those cold winter months.

You no longer have to quit working and building things because of the weather outside. You can think of this as your own private garage.

5.Office: Many individuals have turned their basement into an office. This is a great way to separate play and family time from work.

Turning the basement into an office is also going to free up space in your home as your desk will now be down stairs.

As you see, there are many different basement designs that you can choose from. Of course, you should not only choose the one that you like, but you should also consider what your family members like.
